Following reports of issues with parking in the area, BCH has now reinstated the parking bays and added resident parking signage to alleviate issues within the area. Double yellow lines are also scheduled to be installed in the coming months.

Works have recently been completed to provide recycling facilities at Scorton Avenue. In order to further reduce fly tipping and prevent issues with vermin, BCH’s partnering contractors Bambers have also been working to fit fire doors, door closers and suited locks to the bin stores.

We recently carried out a consultation exercise with residents of Mansfield Road regarding the current bin provision and fly tipping within the area. The consultation included a question on the proposal to install a barrier to restrict access to the car park to prevent non-residents from fly tipping their waste. We're currently collating the results and feeding back soon.
