Making a positive contribution to your neighbourhood - Tarnside environmental works

We've installed some bench seating and developed a wildflower garden on the grassed area of Tarnside. Commercial grade wildflower seeds and new top soil were added to help the garden flourish. The works were undertaken by our Grounds Maintenance contractor, Fylde Council.

We've created parking bays at Chapel Road.

Making a positive contribution to your neighbourhood - tackling Anti-Social Behaviour

We've recently had reports of Anti-Social Behaviour and drug issues occurring on Aysgarth Court.

Neighbourhoods have been working closely with the Police to establish who was causing these issues. This has enabled us to serve 2 Community Protection Warnings (CPW), meaning the individuals are not allowed onto the area. A further CPW was served on one of our tenants to not allow these individuals into their home. We've also obtained CCTV cameras from the Community Safety Team to monitor the estate.

There has also been an individual with a Probation Licence, prohibiting access to the estate. The hard work of the Neighbourhoods Team has resulted in this person being recalled to prison, these steps will help to reduce the ASB in the area.
