Making a positive contribution to your neighbourhood - tackling Anti-Social Behaviour

We were successful in obtaining a Partial Closure Order which was granted for a property at Eltham Court. The tenant was issued with the order after a joint effort with Police, BCH and Blackpool Council and was issued on the 11th March 2026 and is in place for 3 months.

We'd received reports from residents in Harvest Court of people throwing stones at the windows, which were being taken from a pile near the black path. It was discovered that the stones were part of a soakaway, so they could not just be removed easily. Our Environmental Contracts and Projects Officer is actively working with other agencies to find a solution. Enveco are also providing waste management support to deal with instances of fly-tipping on the path.

Waste service provider, Enveco NW have been working closely with the Neighbourhoods Team to prevent illegally dumped waste in the area. Enveco served a Fixed Penalty Warning and a Fixed Penalty Notice to those caught fly-tipping, supporting us to ensure your area is clean and tidy.

Tree planting

Following resident feedback on how we can improve your area, we've planted a selection of fruit trees in the green spaces on Horsebridge Road and Shipley Close/Marchwood. The planting was undertaken by our Grounds Maintenance contractor, Fylde Council.
