Blackpool Coastal Housing (BCH) is proudly supporting National Hoarding Awareness Week, 12th - 16th May, throughout this week.
When Hoarding Disorder is identified, BCH Neighbourhoods Team will work with customers to ensure their safety, including referrals through to local and relevant agencies such as Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and Adult Social care. The Neighbourhoods Team work with customers and in partnership with relevant services to provide support.
We regularly come across customers who are struggling to maintain their living conditions. Our Neighbourhood Officers are here to help and encourage people to address these issues. In doing so it has a positive impact on mental and physical wellbeing.Paul Dillon, BCH Neighbourhoods Manager
