Our Emergency Housing Team were overwhelmed when they received a generous donation of £8,000 from partnering charity Communication Workers Union Humanitarian Aid (CWUHA). This donation is in addition to the £6,000 the charity commits annually and the funds were raised by a sponsored 21 mile hike completed by the CWUHA team.
CWUHA's continued support will help to ensure that BCH can provide much needed activities, outings and events for our children and young people.
BCH is tremendously grateful to the Communication Workers Union Humanitarian Aid Charity for their generous donation which will support some of our most vulnerable tenants in supported and emergency accommodation. Our clients are often at their lowest point in their lives and need stable accommodation but also practical support in all sorts of ways. This funding and help in kind will support many people as they stabilise their lives and look forward to a brighter future. We hope Blackpool will benefit from this partnership for many years to come.John Donnellon, Chief Executive of Blackpool Coastal Housing
