Back in November, the Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Team secured 3 injunctions as a result of extensive ASB being reported from the residents at Lindbeck Court. The ASB detailed fighting and arguing in the communal area, noise nuisance, drug activity with regular Police attendance which was caused by a BCH tenant, their relatives and visitor.
One of the individuals continued to breach the injunction and returned to Lindbeck Court which caused alarm and distress to the residents. As the injunctions had been secured with a Power of Arrest, this meant residents were advised to ring the Police if they witnessed any of the individuals within 100 metres of the block on Lindbeck Court.
Thankfully residents followed this advice and their commitment to supporting BCH with this injunction has resulted in a 4-week custodial sentence for one of the individuals. This individual received his sentence on Thursday 2nd May at Fleetwood County Court.
BCH will not tolerate ASB and will endeavour to utilise and enforce the tools and powers at our disposal to protect residents.
If you are a victim of anti-social behaviour and you or the perpetrator is a BCH customer, please contact our ASB team on 01253 477900 option 3 or asb@bch.co.uk.
