TOWER Scrutiny's Progress Report provides detail on recent scrutinies the panel have completed and how this has made a difference in improving services.

BCH's TOWER Scrutiny Panel has undergone some changes in recent years with new panel members and a new Chair and Vice Chair. Their focus, however, still remains on ensuring they make a difference to BCH customers by improving and developing services that BCH offer.

The panel have recently created a detailed progress report to highlight the work they have completed and how they have influenced change at BCH with their last 3 scrutinies. The full report provides more in depth information but below you'll find a summary of what's included.

If you would like to request hard copies of any of these scrutiny reports please contact the Involvement and Communications team using the details at the bottom of this page.

During the last 3 tasks the panel have:

  • Made 35 service improvement recommendations
  • Benchmarked with 19 housing providers
  • Interviewed 23 members of staff
  • Received and reviewed 102 customer surveys
  • Attended 69 meetings
  • Volunteered an average of 23 hours per scrutiny

For every scrutiny the panel complete, they rely on information from customers and cannot complete an in depth review of the services without this. Thank you to everyone who assists TOWER by completing surveys and taking the time to discuss your experience in person or over the phone.

If you would like more information about volunteering with BCH, we would love to hear from you!
