As a Reading Panel member, you will play a key role in helping to ensure that our publications and communications with customers are clear and relevant to Blackpool Coastal Housing residents.

On an ad-hoc basis you will be sent draft documents/publications and asked to fill in a survey either online or by post, that asks you comment and provide feedback.

Questions may differ depending on the document/publication although general questions are:

  • Is the document clear and easy to understand?
  • Is the information well-organized and thoughtfully laid-out?
  • Are there any unnecessary words or phrases?
  • Are any sentences too long?
  • Is jargon kept to a minimum and specialised words explained?
  • Are there any spelling errors?
  • Do you think more information should be included?

Your comments and feedback will then be considered and the necessary changes will be made to the document  prior to publication.
