MPT will provide tailored 1-2-1 mentoring support to residents living in the Revoe area of Blackpool, with the opportunity to engage in a range of activities which will help improve overall health and wellbeing. The Regeneration Project of the Revoe area enables MPT to support local residents with:

Advice and guidance
Improving lives
Improving confidence
Developing new skills
Taking part in sport and community art activities
Getting work or volunteering experience
Increasing job prospects

All residents will have access to a mentor who will assess your needs, help identify and overcome barriers, as well as giving opportunities to develop new skills and valuable work experience.

What support will be offered?

More Positive Together will offer a tailored, person centred approach to empower and support people to move closer to the labour market through accessing education, training, volunteering and work placements.

We will work closely with local services to work in partnerships to ensure that support is offered for any other issues that may arise. A clear action plan will be developed to ensure that the customer is aware of their own, and others, responsibilities.

The More Positive Support Officers cannot give more specialised support but through talking about problems they will advise you on where to ask for expert advice on things like debt, mental health, drugs and alcohol, contacting Social Care or other support organisations.
