The Sheltered Housing Service
Blackpool Coastal Housing manages 20 Sheltered Housing Schemes providing over 800 homes. The Sheltered Housing Service aims to provide high quality accommodation promoting a safe and secure environment. We offer choices and support to meet individual needs in order to retain independence thereby enhancing quality of life.

We are constantly striving to improve our Sheltered Housing Service so in order for us to measure and monitor our performance we have set the following Service Standards:
- When a fault with the warden call system is reported we will fix it within 24 hours
- We will complete a full support plan for tenants who decide they want support within 4 weeks of a tenancy commencing
- We will complete a review of a support plan annually
- We will aim to have a satisfaction level of 92% from tenants with the Sheltered Housing Service
- We will aim to have a satisfaction level of 64% from tenants that Community Centres are well maintained and clean
