National ASB Awareness Week launched

Blackpool Coastal Housing

BCH is supporting National ASB Awareness Week, 18th - 24th July 2022, to take a stand against anti-social behaviour (ASB), highlighting the type of action we take to tackle nuisance behaviour and helping to resolve issues at the earliest possible opportunity.

Our aim is to stabilise neighbourhoods and build sustainable communities which our residents are proud to live in. We take an active role in contributing to this through tackling safeguarding issues, poor health, anti-social behaviour and crime.

Our cases range from dealing with reports of noise nuisance to supporting customers who are victims of domestic abuse.

We will enforce Blackpool Council's Tenancy Agreement by taking all necessary steps, including legal action against perpetrators of anti-social behaviour, such as:

Early Intervention

  • Written and Verbal Warnings
  • Mediation
  • Acceptable Behaviour Contracts (ABC’s)
  • Diversionary activities
  • Referrals

  • Tenancy Cautions
  • Exclusion/suspension from the housing register
  • Civil Injunction
  • Community Protection Warnings and Notices
  • Demoted Tenancies
  • Extension of Introductory Tenancies
  • Notice of Seeking Possession (NOSP)
  • Notice of Pending Possession (NOPP)
  • Absolute Ground for Possession
