I owe rent arrears from a previous Council Tenancy
What should I do? 

Ideally you should pay the full outstanding amount as soon as possible, however we realise that this may not be possible.

If you cannot do this you should contact the Rents Team on 01253 477942 to make an agreement to repay the money you owe. This agreement  will need to be at a level that you can afford.

If you do not pay the money that you owe you may not be able to have another Council home.
