Many people fall into debt at some point in their lives, often through no fault of their own. This information is provided to help you to deal with your debts and remove some of the pressures of being in debt.
If you are in arrears with rent owed to Blackpool Coastal Housing and you are struggling to pay, you can speak to your Housing Officer. They will try and identify an external agency or support service who may be able to offer you further assistance. Alternatively, you can contact the National Debtline on Tel: 0808 808 4000 or online at
www.nationaldebtline.co.uk
. They offer FREE, confidential and Independent advice for people in debt.
If you are in arrears with council tax owed to Blackpool Council, contact the telephone number on your reminder or summons letter and ask if you can be referred to the Advice Link Money Advice Team.
