Sheltered Schemes A-K
The Sheltered Housing Service manages a total of 20 Sheltered Schemes across Blackpool. Below is a brief description of our Sheltered Schemes A-K. For further information, click on the links above or contact us directly.
Argosy Court:
Argosy Court is situated on Grange Park, off Poulton Road. This Scheme comprises of 40 one bedroom flats and also has an onsite Community Centre.
Ashfield Court:
Ashfield Court is located on Ashfield Road in Bispham. There are 20 Sheltered Flats located on this Scheme, all of which are one bedroom. Although there is no onsite Community Centre there is one closeby on Kilmory Sheltered Scheme.
Aysgarth Court:
Aysgarth Court is situated in South Shore off Highfield Road. There are 96 one bedroomed self-contained flats which are on ground level and upper floor. A Community Centre is also situated onsite.
Bostonway:
Bostonway is located in Marton, off Vicarage Lane. This Scheme comprises of 43 sheltered homes and has an onsite Community Centre.
Cherry Tree Gardens:
Cherry Tree Gardens is located in Marton, off Cherry Tree Road. There are 33 Sheltered properties on this Scheme which also has an onsite Community Centre.
Dunsop Court:
Dunsop Court is located on Dunsop Close, off Ansdell Road. There are 60 properties on this Scheme, which are located on both Dunsop Close and Threlfall Road. Dunsop Court is a purpose built block of Sheltered Studio Flats and there are also a handful of bungalows located on Threlfall Road. There is a Community Centre on the ground floor of Dunsop Court and there are also guest rooms for residents visitors within the building.
Horsebridge Road:
Horsebridge Road is situated in Grange Park, off Dinmore Avenue. There are 41 Sheltered Flats on this site, and a Community Centre is also located here.
Ibbison Court:
Ibbison Court is located in the heart of Blackpool, just off Central Drive. There are 50 Sheltered Flats on this Scheme, which are located on Ibbison Court itself and two nearby roads; Kent Road and Salthouse Avenue. A Community Centre is also located on Ibbison Court.
Kilmory Place:
Kilmory Place is situated in Bispham off Kincraig Road. There are 37 Sheltered Flats and a Community Centre located on this Scheme.
Kincraig Place:
Kincraig Place is situated in Bispham off Kincraig Road and near to Ashfield Road. There are 37 Sheltered Homes and a Community Centre located on this Scheme.
Kipling Court:
Kipling Court is located near Preston New Road, on Kipling Drive in Marton. There are 20 Sheltered Flats on this Scheme, and although there is no onsite Community Centre there is one closeby on Tarnside Scheme.
