Community Centres
Sheltered housing
Within the Sheltered Housing Service, there are 17 Community Centres. Our Community Centre Coordinator is responsible for facilitating activities within these centres.
The activities we provide now include:
- Bingo
- Cards
- Dominoes
- Lunch Club
- Arts and Crafts
- Relaxation exercises such as yoga and tai chi
- Educational Programmes such as British Sign Language Foundation Course
- Breakfast Club
- Day Trips
- Council and Police Surgeries
- Reminiscing
- Coffee Morning
- And many more!
Outside groups (i.e. non-sheltered tenants) are welcome to book activities within the Community Centres.
Rules and regulations for the use of the Centres do apply. A copy of these will be forwarded to you on application. The online diary for the community centres can be used to plan your event. The diary can be found under the Forms tab. Please contact us if you wish to hold an event in any available slot.
