Our local housing offices let garages in their allocated areas for a small weekly charge.
Should you wish to apply for a garage, you will need to complete an application form. Application forms are available from your local area housing office or you can download one from the Forms page.
Upon receipt of your completed application, it will be processed and your interest will be recorded for the garage sites you have requested.
Our garages are let in the following order:
• Tenant – Disabled
• Tenant
• None Tenant – Disabled
• None Tenant
Please be aware that you will not be allocated a garage if you owe any monies on a BCH property, unless these are cleared beforehand.
If you are not a tenant or leaseholder, VAT will be charged in addition to the weekly rent. You will be informed of the charges in full at the time of your garage offer.
You will be informed in writing once you have been identified for an offer. You must contact the office to confirm if you wish to accept the offer or decline it. If you do not respond within the offer period, your application may be placed on hold until we receive a response from you.
If you accept an offer, an appointment will be made for you to come into the office to sign your tenancy agreement and receive the keys. Your rent will be due from the tenancy start date. Methods of payment will be discussed with you at the sign up appointment.
