Data Processing Statement

In order to get in touch with you and to provide you with services we need to collect information about you. For example, we can't come to your house if we don't know your address.

We always try to make sure the information we collect and hold is correct and isn't an invasion of your privacy.

We may pass your personal data onto the people who provide the service. These providers are obliged to keep your details securely, and use them only to fulfil your request. Once your request has been dealt with or the case has been closed, they will dispose of the details.

To be able to provide you with access to some services we may need to pass your sensitive personal data onto a third party. If you do not wish us to share the information you have provided, you must write and tell us. Please note that it may prove difficult for us to provide you with access to some services if you decide not to let us share the information we hold.

We have a legal duty to protect public funds and we may share information that we hold with other organisations that handle public funds, for the purpose of crime prevention and detection of fraud.

As an individual, you have a number of rights under the Data Protection Act 1998 and information on these rights is available from the Information Commissioner's Office.
