Annual Report to Tenants 2010/11

Our Annual Report has been specially designed to provide information for tenants. It sets out in detail how BCH has performed over the last year and explains its plans for the future. The report has been developed, designed and produced in partnership with tenant representatives and the Tenant Reading Panel to ensure the final report contains not only information that is important to tenants but is also presented in an eye-catching and easy to read format.

Interesting facts highlighted in the report about performance in 2010-11 include: 

• 174 improvements have been made to BCH services as a result of tenant involvement
• £16.2 million have been spent on making homes decent last year
• £22,661 have been saved by BCH customers with the Credit Union
• 25 Acceptable Behaviour Contracts were signed

Interesting facts highlighted in the report about performance in 2009 -10 include: 

    • £15.9 million invested in Decent Homes improvement works 
    • 1,696 doors and windows were replaced 
    • 899 new kitchens were fitted 
    • 96% of tenants were happy with the Repairs Service 
    • 83% of tenant “mystery shoppers” rated their experience as excellent or good 
    • £37,003 reduction in the amount of current tenant rent arrears
